In response to the modern Christianity issue, I’m compelled to defer to the inimitable TJ:

Which is to say: if it doesn’t pick your pocket, or break your leg, your government by, rational necessity, must remain silent on the topic.
If all religions would take this to heart, so many of the worlds problems would be cured over night.
